The Law Society could call for a judicial review to combat the Government’s plans for a radical overhaul of the UK’s ailing legal aid system, it has emerged.
Vice president Andrew Holroyd has told the profession that Chancery Lane will “carefully consider whether there are grounds” to call for a review. The body has already sought advice from counsel on the issue.
