The Trainee Solicitors Group has unveiled its new-look executive committee for 2006-07. The fresh line-up, which is dominated by women, includes newly-qualified Halliwells solicitor Melissa Worth as president. Akaego Ugwu, a junior lawyer at Lamport Bassitt, is named as policy director while Browne Jacobson solicitor Victoria Pender becomes membership director at the body, which represents about 47,000 young lawyers.
