Clifford Chance (CC) has appointed new managing partners for its Brussels and Italian arms after the current local heads both announced plans to quit the magic circle giant.

Banking and capital markets partner Yves Herinckx takes over as managing partner of CC’s Brussels office, following the departure of respected corporate partner Laurent Legein, who quit the firm last week to join the local arm of New York leader Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. Herinckx takes over with immediate effect and will serve a four-year term in the role.
