Mass walkout at Lovells' 20-lawyer Berlin office

The vast majority of Lovells’ 20-lawyer Berlin arm are heading for the door, despite offers from the firm to re-house them in other German offices.

The operation, which Lovells is to close by April 2007, is set to see four of its five remaining partners leave the firm rather than move to its Frankfurt office. Only property partner Bernhard Kuhn will stay at the firm along with a handful of associates.
