A&O recruits O'Melveny arbitration chief for contentious push

Allen & Overy (A&O) has hired O’Melveny & Myers’ co-chair of international arbitration Louis ‘Benno’ Kimmelman as top UK firms strive to beef up their contentious practices in New York.

The 55-year-old Kimmelman, who joins the magic circle firm’s New York arm as a partner, focuses his practice on arbitration and litigation of commercial and construction disputes.
