Linklaters fights Freshfields in £957m John Laing bidding war

Linklaters is battling against its old foe Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in its role advising on Allianz’s £957m bid for property developer John Laing.

Linklaters corporate partner Carlton Evans and associate Jonathan Woolf are advising the German insurer, which announced that its offer had been accepted by the British property developer today (27 October).
