London private equity leader Ashurst is eyeing up a Scandinavian launch as it moves to grab a slice of the high volumes of buyout activity in the region.
Ashurst has confirmed to Legal Week that it is weighing up a presence in either Stockholm or Copenhagen. Partners at the firm have confirmed that the issue was discussed at the firm’s partnership conference earlier this month as Ashurst has a number of active clients in the region.
