Sidley Austin has moved to strengthen its Frankfurt arm with the hire of its first German-based corporate partner, after securing the appointment of Clifford Chance (CC) M&A specialist Georg Rutzel.
Rutzel, who will join the firm on December 1 from CC’s respected local corporate practice, focuses on M&A across a broad range of industries and sectors including financial services.
