The General Dental Council (GDC) is to appoint a law firm to its supplier panel and beef up its in-house legal team to prepare for an expected rise in complaints as the number of dental professionals it represents is set to double. The GDC, the body that regulates the dental profession in the UK, plans to appoint either one or two law firms to its panel of external suppliers and build a five-strong in-house legal team.
