Former Clifford Chance (CC) managing partner Peter Cornell is set to retire from the firm after almost 30 years, including 20 years in management roles.
Cornell, who became the firm’s managing partner in 2003, is to leave by the end of the year to pursue other interests after announcing last year that he would retire from the high-profile role when his term ended this year. He was succeeded by David Childs, who took over as managing partner on 1 May, 2006, for a four-year term.
