Herbert Smith has seen off a £109.2m hostile bid for defence computing company Radstone Technology by Italian Euro-tech, paving the way for a recommended offer by GE Fanuc Embedded Systems.
Herbert Smith corporate partner Michael Shaw was brought in by Radstone’s financial adviser Close Brothers to work alongside regular corporate advisers Shoosmiths when the approach by Euro-tech went hostile at the beginning of this month.
