Chicago leader Kirkland & Ellis has promoted 64 associates to partner in a move that sees its partnership rocket to 552 – a record promotion round for the US legal market.
The move is believed to be the largest promotions round ever by a centrally-integrated American partnership and is the third year running that Kirkland has had a promotion round equivalent to more than 10% of its partnership.
