Under-fire general counsel quits HP

Ann Baskins has resigned as general counsel of Hewlett Packard (HP) with immediate effect.

Her decision to step down brings an end to a 24-year career with the computer giant, during which time she became one of the most high-profile female in-house lawyers in the world.
