UK's second city to get first US entrant as Reed Smith transfers team from Coventry

Reed Smith is to quit Coventry and transfer its nine-partner local arm to Birmingham, Legal Week can reveal, in a move that will send a jolt through the clubby West Midlands legal community.
The move, which goes live on 23 September, sees the US giant move into new 20,000 sq ft premises on the outskirts of the UK’s second city, housing more than 30 lawyers plus additional support staff.
