Northwest giant Hill Dickinson has secured a merger with London shipping boutique Hill Taylor Dickinson, as consolidation in the legal insurance market continues apace.
The tie-up, which will go live on 1 November, sees the Liverpool-based firm reunited with 22-partner Hill Taylor after the two practices split in 1989 to pursue different strategies. The combined firm, which will trade as Hill Dickinson, will have 141 partners with total revenues of nearly £65m. The two firms agreed the move after 12 months of negotiations.
