Royal & Sun Alliance’s UK head of legal, Douglas Ponting, has left the company after nine years to take early retirement. Ponting, who was based at the company’s Horsham, West Sussex offices, left the company at the end of July. Simon Logan now heads up its legal team.
The bulk of Royal & Sun Alliance’s in-house team is based in London, over-seen by group general counsel Mark Chambers.
