Many of Europe’s top firms are pressing for the liberalisation of the Singapore legal market, as the local justice ministry prepares to announce how foreign law firms will be able to operate in the key Asian jurisdiction.
Top firms are waiting for the results of a review of the current system by the Attorney General of Singapore’s office, which is expected later this year, before they decide on strategies for the emerging market, which is seen as a gateway to India.
