Eversheds has lost another equity partner from its Birmingham office, with local commercial litigation chief Steve Barker set to quit the top 10 UK firm later this summer. Barker will leave at the end of this month after 17 years with the national firm, although his destination has yet to be confirmed. Chris Busby will take over as head of the firm’s three-partner Birmingham litigation group. Eversheds’ 35-partner Birmingham office has seen a number of senior departures over the last 18 months.
