Norton Rose counters poor results with bonus

Norton Rose has paid out almost £1m in bonuses to its staff, the first time the firm has given a bonus in recent years.

The top 10 City firm paid a total windfall bonus of £807,750 to its global support staff and non-qualified fee earners. A total of 1,077 staff, including 315 secretaries, 214 legal support staff, 349 non-legal support staff and 199 trainees and paralegals each received the one-off bonus of £750.
