A Linklaters team including London corporate partners Charlie Jacobs and Robert Cleaver and Paris projects partner Simon Ratledge advised Nikanor, the holding company of a copper and cobalt mining group in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Freshfields team, led by corporate partner Julian Makin and corporate associate Vi-Ky Lam, advised the nominated and financial adviser and broker JP Morgan Cazenove.
