SABMiller pulled off one of the most significant in-house appointments of the year after recruiting Lovells corporate heavyweight John Davidson to the newly-created role of general counsel and company secretary.
Davidson’s relationship with the FTSE 100 brewing giant began eight years ago when the top 10 City firm was instructed to advise the company ahead of a listing on the London Stock Exchange.
