In-house lawyers at Microsoft are leading the charge of technology, media and telecoms (TMT) companies petitioning the Government on its root-and-branch review of UK intellectual property (IP) policy.
The IT giant has made submissions to the body working on the review, with the company’s legal department taking a key role in the process. Microsoft UK head of legal and corporate affairs Chris Parker told Legal Week that his legal department had been working alongside the company’s corporate affairs team in making submissions.
