It has been a while coming, but the much-vaunted Legal-Category panel, ambitiously set up in 2003 as a template for Government legal service procurement, appears to be finally catching on.
The latest figures show the 33-firm ‘L-Cat’, dished out £13.3m in legal fees in the 12 months to April, more than double the previous year’s spend.
