Browne Jacobson has hired medical negligence partner Ian Long from the Birmingham office of national rival Weightmans, in a bid to build up its practice in the sector.
Long, who specialises in high-value negligence claims, will join the top 75 firm’s Nottingham HQ next week. Long is a longstanding relationship partner for key Browne Jacobson client the NHS Litigation Authority (NHSLA), which handles all negligence claims against the NHS.
