Cost recovery provider Equitrac has announced its Professional 5 product suite for software-based tracking of billable expenses. Users can allocate costs for scanned, copied, faxed and printed documents sent to any printer or multifunction device on the network, while Professional 5 sits on the enterprise server for centralised IT administration.

Equitrac has designed Professional 5 to be compatible with the leading multifunction devices as well as eCopy Scan Station terminals. In addition, integration with the Hummingbird and Interwoven document management systems provides automatic matter-centric allocation of document expenses.
