CMS Cameron McKenna corporate partner John Burton is leaving the firm to become the general counsel at media company Informa.
Burton will leave Camerons at the end of the month and start at the FTSE 250 publishing and events business at the beginning of June to act as its first-ever general counsel. He will oversee its legal and risk functions and will also take on the role of company secretary, although he will not sit on the board.
