Travers Smith has cemented its links with Macquarie Bank after securing a lead role on the £1.82bn sale of travel concession catering business Select Service Partner (SSP) by Compass Group.
Travers acted for Macquarie on the deal which sees ownership of SSP’s motorway business, totalling 37 sites across the UK, pass to the acquisitive Australian investment house, while Swedish investment group EQT takes over its railway and airport businesses.
