A&O recruits Gleiss Lutz young gun for German M&A push

Allen & Overy (A&O) has made a rare lateral hire in its German practice after recruiting Gleiss Lutz M&A partner Michael Ulmer.

The 37-year old Ulmer becomes the 31st partner in A&O’s German practice, becoming one of the few partners to leave the top-tier Gleiss for a rival practice. He joins A&O’s Frankfurt arm.
