CMS Cameron McKenna has advised property investment company Moorfield Group on its £110m purchase of a portfolio of regional hotels from SA Shearing Group. Real estate partner Edward Benzecry led the Camerons team, while Addleshaw Goddard lawyers Teresa Kamppari Baker and partner John Hiscock acted for the vendor.
Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has advised a joint venture between Insight Investment and the London office of Tishman International Companies on the £527m acquisition of Plantation Place from British Land. Gibson Dunn’s team was led by partners Wayne McArdle (corporate), Tom Budd (finance), Alan Samson (real estate) and Nicholas Aleksander (tax).
