DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has recruited a five-lawyer competition team, including the lead advisers on the ongoing bid battle for Endesa – as the global giant continues to ramp up its Spanish practice.
Former Jones Day of counsels Jose Maria and Juan Jimenez-Laiglesia, who left the firm last October to form a competition boutique, join DLA Piper’s Madrid arm as partners, along with Jones Day associates Blanca Escribano, Trinidad Garcia and Sofia Fontanals.
