Long-delayed plans for a flagship Commercial Court in London have received a boost after the Government confirmed this week that it has drawn up a shortlist of four developers to spearhead the ambitious £25m project.

The Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) submitted a formal tender for developers for the proposed court last year, and is expected to make a final decision when the procurement period ends in July. The four approved developers, who have not yet been named by DCA officials, have already submitted outline designs for the new court.
