The first round of silks under the reformed model of QC appointments will miss the traditional Easter deadline, it was confirmed this week.
QC Appointments, the body taking over the selection of silks, said that the first round of new appointments would be unveiled in the summer – dashing expectations that the announcement would make the traditional Maundy Thursday (13 April) deadline.
