Top 20 UK firm Denton Wilde Sapte has boosted its disaster recovery system by signing a deal with telecommunications provider Telstra Europe to host its critical data off-site. The firm opted to upgrade its IT infrastructure and replace its in-house disaster recovery system as part of the recent move from two London offices into one, to save data administration costs and increase security.

The firm has signed up for 82 square metres of space at the Telstra Europe Docklands-based hosting centre, with the option to add further servers as its data storage requirements grow; there is also a provision for scalable bandwidth. Telstra will work in conjunction with IT service provider Comunica Ltd.
