Clifford Chance (CC) has hired in-house lawyer Edward Gander as a partner in its private equity funds department, taking the number of partners in its team to four, as the magic circle giant moves to expand its funds practice.
CC announced the hire of Gander this week. He will join from private equity house ViaNova, where he was one of four managing partners. Gander, who was formerly a senior associate at CC, will work alongside funds chief Jason Glover and partners Matthew Judd and Nigel Hatfield.
