Even in times of difficulty, The Diary is always keen to hear from its Viking cousins across the North Sea – and there is little doubt those plucky Danes have been having a tough time of it since the publication of those cartoons and the subsequent boycott of Danish goods in some Muslim countries.
Perhaps in a bid to restore some semblance of stability, fearsome Copenhagen firm Kromann Reumert (think Linklaters partners with horns in their tophats) has adopted the ‘no news is good news’ mantra so beloved of magic circle PR teams.
