The use of technology to deliver law is still at the “plumbing” stage, with the “really exciting stuff” due to take place in the next decade, according to high-profile academic and consultant Richard Susskind.

Susskind made the claim at the annual Society for Computers and Law (SCL) lecture last week. The event on 6 March saw Suss-kind outline his predictions for the future of technology 10 years after first addressing the society, when he launched his highly influential book The Future of Law.
