Simmons lands £20bn finance mandate

Simmons & Simmons has landed a multi-billion pound mandate from HSBC after the banking giant’s entire global panel was conflicted out of acting on the ongoing bid battle for Endesa of Spain.

Simmons is advising HSBC as financier and investment bank to E.ON on the German power giant’s €29.1bn (£19.9bn) bid for energy company Endesa.
