America’s band of expansionary national firms are continuing to make their presence felt in the US legal market, with Morgan Lewis & Bockius, Bryan Cave and Foley & Lardner all unveiling strong financial results for 2005.
The largest of the three, Philadelphia-based Morgan Lewis, saw average partner profits rise by 11% to $1m (£577,000). The Pennsylvania leader posted an 11% fee income increase, taking gross revenue to $805m (£463m) from $723.6m (£416m) in 2004.
