Fujitsu Siemens is aiming to catch the eye of email addicts with the Pocket LOOX T830. The messaging handheld features the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system optimised for mobile email, a built-in GPS antenna for satellite navigation, 3G for video calls, and Wi-Fi for high-speed web access and VOIP. It crams a full gamut of connectivity options and multimedia functions into a 190g package you can slip into a coat pocket.

The QWERTY keyboard is useful for busy professionals composing emails on the road, while the two-megapixel camera adds multimedia flair. Users can play videos and MP3s on Windows Media Player, as well as edit documents on Mobile Word and Excel. With a full range of organiser software, the T830 synchronises your calendar, contacts and inbox with Outlook on your computer back at the office. It has 128MB ROM for file storage, and an SD slot for adding a storage card of up to 2GB. The T830 is scheduled to hit shelves in July, with a price of approximately €700 (£480).
