A group of top fraud silks from Hollis Whiteman Chambers is to form a breakaway set, in a move expected to herald a push by the criminal Bar into more lucrative commercial and civil work.
The breakaway barristers, all of whom have been instructed by top 20 commercial law firms, include highly-rated white collar crime, libel and civil fraud silks Julian Bevan QC, John Kelsey-Fry QC and Timothy Langdale QC, together with juniors Ian Winter and Richard Horwell.
