addleshaws: has kept rates on hold outside londonNational firm Addleshaw Goddard has become the latest firm to raise its maintenance grant to £7,000 in London, although it will leave its grants unchanged outside the capital.

The firm announced the change on 27 February. It sees the grant paid out to students taking the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) in London increase by more than 50%, from £4,500 to £7,000. Students based outside London will continue to receive a grant of £4,500.
