Speaking of humility, there was a fabulous episode that took place here not so long ago. One of our helpdesk chaps was called to a conference room to assist a client with his laptop, having located the UK/Uzbekistan adaptor, which we save for such occasions.
Being a well brought-up lad, he plugged it in for the client and stood by, hands clasped in front of him, waiting politely until the client had logged in successfully… at which point, the client whispered loudly to a nearby partner: “Am I supposed to tip him?” resulting in ensuing hilarity all round.
