Davies Arnold Cooper’s (DAC’s) recently-appointed knowledge management (KM) partner Mark Collins is to carry out an audit of the firm’s KM strategy. Since joining the firm only weeks ago, Collins has been examining current work processes to determine how the firm’s KM strategy fits in with its business objectives, and the place IT will have in the firm’s future.
“IT can help to streamline processes. This might be the process of creating complex documentation or an administrative process such as taking on new clients or opening new matters. You might look at a document assembly tool for the first and a workflow tool for the second,” he said.
