Willkie Farr & Gallagher has become the latest New York practice to reveal strong results for 2005, with the firm’s average profits per equity partner (PEP) closing in on the $1.8m (£1.03m) mark.

The 600-lawyer firm saw revenue rise by almost 10% last year, with fee income reaching $443m (£255m), compared with 2004′s $416m (£239m).
