Chicago giant McDermott Will & Emery has recorded a 7% increase in turnover for 2005, with gross revenue hitting $799.5m (£460m). During the same period, the 1,000-lawyer firm’s average profits per equity partner have increased by 7.5% to $1.28m (£736,000) from $1.19m (£685,000) in 2004. The results indicate a growth slow-down for McDermott, after the firm saw a turnover increase of 12% the previous year.
