Hammonds has missed the deadline to submit a compulsory document with the Law Society for the last financial year, it has emerged, in what will be an embarrassing episode for the national giant.
The firm missed the 31 January deadline to file an accountant’s report, which provides the Law Society with details about the handling of client money, and also failed to ask Chancery Lane for an extension to the deadline until 2 February.
