Magic circle giant signs £5.5m deal with SAVVIS to outsource critical IT infrastructure

In a bold move, Allen & Overy (A&O) has become one of the first law firms in Europe to outsource its critical IT infrastructure.
The magic circle firm has signed a five and a half year contract worth £5.5m with SAVVIS, a leading global IT service provider for large enterprises. SAVVIS will provide managed hosting and network infrastructure for UK operations, including a centralised document management system, secure data transfers, file sharing, accounting and e-mail.
