Hammonds has kicked off its high-stakes courtroom battle against The Football League as the national giant attempts to put the long-running negligence claim behind it.
The case, one of the largest ever claims against a law firm to see the inside of a courtroom, began last week (8 February) at the High Court in London, after mediation attempts failed to reach any kind of settlement.
