Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is in the final stages of an overhaul of its City finance practice, which is expected to usher in client-specific teams with the brief to institutionalise the magic circle firm’s key banking relationships.
The review, which mirrors a similar shake-up by the firm’s London corporate department last year, is set to consolidate Freshfields’ finance practice and bring in new client-specific teams with the mandate to sell the wider finance practice to key clients.
