FTSE 100 logistics business Exel is losing its corporate legal director and company secretary, Doug Evans, who is leaving in the wake of the company’s sale to German mail giant Deutsche Post.
Evans, who has been with Exel for the last six years, will depart at the end of March. It is understood that he has not yet planned what his next move will be, although Exel’s current head of legal services, Ian Goulden, has taken on the role of director of legal practice.
